01How We Work

From problemto productionand beyond.

Our engineers work with your people, inside your workflows and systems, and we plan the team and operating capacity alongside the technology. We own the journey from defining the problem to running the solution in production.

02The lifecycle

Nine stages.Two tracks.One continuous loop.

The technology track takes the problem to production. The team track makes sure the right people and operating capacity are there at every stage.

03Concurrent delivery

Discovery and deployment run at the same time.

We don't wait for a complete strategy before building. While the first opportunity is being built and deployed, discovery continues on the next. Each deployment teaches us something that sharpens the next round of discovery.

04Stage by stage

What each stage involves.

01 / 09

Discover

Understand the business, workflow, people, systems, data and problem.

Our engineers spend time where the work happens. We map the workflow as it actually runs, talk to the people closest to the problem, and look at the systems and data that already exist.

Who is involved
  • Growtrics forward deployed engineers
  • Operators and frontline teams
  • Process and system owners
Growtrics produces
  • Workflow map
  • Problem statement
  • Opportunity list
You provide
  • Access to people and sites

  • System and data access where appropriate

DecisionWe move forward once the problem is clearly defined and agreed with the people who own it.

Team trackAssess capacity and operating need

02 / 09

Validate

Determine whether the opportunity is technically and commercially viable.

We test the riskiest assumptions early: data quality, technical feasibility, integration constraints and whether solving the problem is worth the investment.

Who is involved
  • Growtrics engineers
  • Business sponsor
  • Technical stakeholders
Growtrics produces
  • Feasibility findings
  • Technical spikes or proofs
  • Viability assessment
You provide

Team trackDesign the required team shape

03 / 09

Prioritise

Decide what to address first based on impact, feasibility, cost and urgency.

Not every opportunity should be built at once. We rank validated opportunities together and agree a sequence that delivers value early while building toward larger goals.

Who is involved
  • Leadership and business sponsor
  • Growtrics engineering lead
Growtrics produces
  • Prioritised roadmap
  • Scope for the first deployment
You provide
  • Business priorities
  • Budget and timing constraints

DecisionPriorities are agreed jointly and revisited as we learn from each deployment.

Team trackSource or allocate the right capability

04 / 09

Design

Define the appropriate technology and solution architecture.

We choose the technology that fits the problem, whether that is AI, automation, software, data, computer vision, IoT, integration, an existing third-party tool, or a combination.

Who is involved
  • Growtrics engineers
  • Client IT and system owners
  • End users
Growtrics produces
  • Solution architecture
  • Technology selection rationale
  • Integration plan

Team trackAssign ownership and delivery roles

05 / 09

Build

Develop the solution in close collaboration with the client.

We build in short cycles alongside your team, putting working software in front of real users early so that feedback shapes the solution while it is still cheap to change.

Who is involved
  • Growtrics engineers
  • Client product owner
  • Pilot users
Growtrics produces
  • Working increments
  • Code and configuration
  • Documentation
You provide
  • Regular feedback
  • Test environments
  • Domain expertise

DecisionIncrements move to testing when they meet agreed acceptance criteria.

Team trackDeploy people into the work

06 / 09

Test

Validate functionality, reliability, quality and real-world behaviour.

We test against how the system will be used in practice, not just how it was specified. For AI components this includes evaluation against representative cases and edge cases.

Who is involved
  • Growtrics engineers
  • Quality and evaluation specialists
  • Pilot users
Growtrics produces
  • Test and evaluation results
  • Known limitations
  • Release readiness
You provide
  • Representative scenarios
  • User acceptance

DecisionRelease happens when quality thresholds agreed with you are met.

Team trackInspect capability and quality

07 / 09

Deploy

Put the solution into the client's actual operating environment.

We deploy into the real environment (the factory floor, the operations team, the existing systems) and stay close through rollout so problems are caught and fixed quickly.

Who is involved
  • Growtrics engineers
  • Client IT and operations
  • End users
Growtrics produces
  • Production deployment
  • Rollout and training support
  • Runbooks
You provide
  • Production access
  • Change management support

DecisionRollout expands as the system proves stable in real use.

Team trackRun the work in the client environment

08 / 09

Measure

Measure adoption, performance and business impact.

We track whether the solution is used, whether it performs reliably, and whether it changes the outcome it was built to change.

Who is involved
  • Growtrics engineers
  • Business sponsor
  • Operations leads
Growtrics produces
  • Adoption and performance monitoring
  • Impact reporting
You provide
  • Baseline data
  • Access to outcome measures

DecisionMeasurement determines what to improve, expand or retire next.

Team trackMeasure client and economic outcomes

09 / 09

Improve

Iterate, expand and continuously improve.

Deployment is not the end. We refine what exists, extend it to new teams or sites, and feed what we learn back into discovery for the next opportunity.

Who is involved
  • Growtrics engineers
  • Client teams
Growtrics produces
  • Improvements and extensions
  • Updated roadmap
You provide
  • Ongoing feedback
  • New problems worth solving

DecisionThe cycle continues for as long as there is meaningful value to create.

Team trackOptimise people, process and automation

05Collaboration

One team, working in the open.

  • 01

    Embedded, not remote

Our engineers spend time on-site and in your tools, alongside the people who do the work.

  • 02

    Short cycles, visible progress

Working increments every cycle, so you see progress in software, not status reports.

  • 03

    Decisions with the owners

Priorities and trade-offs are decided jointly with the people accountable for the outcome.

  • 04

    Knowledge stays with you

Documentation, runbooks and handover are part of the work, so your team can operate what we build.

08Questions

Common questions

What if we don't know what technology we need?

That's the most common starting point. Bring us the problem. Discovery and validation exist to work out what is worth building and which technology fits. That may be AI, automation, software, integration, an existing tool, or a combination.

Do you only build AI solutions?

No. We use AI where it genuinely helps. Many problems are better solved with automation, data, software or integration, and we will tell you when that is the case.

We already have an engineering team. How do you work with them?

We work as part of your team: pairing with your engineers, following your standards and systems, and making sure your team can own and extend what we build.

We need people, not a project. Can you help?

Yes. Through Deploy we can find, place or manage the people you need, and through Operate we can run a defined function for you. We’ll help you work out whether you need a person, a team or an operated capability.

Where is the work delivered from?

Growtrics is headquartered in Singapore, which holds the commercial relationship and accountability. Our current delivery centre is in Vietnam, and our engineers work on-site or in your tools wherever the problem requires.

How does an engagement start?

With a conversation about the problem. From there we typically agree a focused discovery period, then move into building and deploying the first priority while discovery continues.

09Start a conversation

What are you trying to get done?

Tell us about the problem, the outcome you need and the team you have. We’ll help you work out what to build, who should build it and how to put it to work.
